Default Parking brake issue

The parking brake handle doesn't stay down all the way when I'm driving. It comes up a couple millimeters and causes the parking break light to come on. Quick fix out there?

If the amount the handle comes up has no effect on the braking system, the switch may just need to be adjusted.

I just love when folks are always looking for that quick fix. Techs love those jobs too , only too many of them turn into 2-3 hour jobs. If you don't want to get involved in digging into this , why not have a qualified shop take care of it and be done with it?

Thank you for your reply! The amount my parking brake raises doesn't have an effect on my braking system and the parking brake works perfectly fine. The parking brake light coming on when I'm driving just annoys me a little, I will look into adjusting the switch!
