Default Radiator

I am replacing the Radiator in my 97 Elantra. I am wondering if I need a specific type of Coolant. Right now it has the good ole green "Stuff" in the system, but since I am changing the radiator, I want to put new coolant in its place. The reasan I ask is I used to own an old 86 VW Vanagon, and it required a special coolant that was silicate and phosphate free, and was red in color. I want to make sure I use the right stuff. ANy help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks in advance.

Stick with good ol' green. Don't try to "improve" anything with your coolant because some coolants don't like each other.
