So, my wife was a little overenthusiastic clearing snow off the roof of our 02 Elantra (she used a shovel), and she wound up lifting the side molding trim piece off the roof on each side (long skinny plastic strap type of thingy that goes from front window to back window along the side of the roof). I must be daft, but I can't seem to get it to get back in. It looks like it should just snap into place, but I must be missing the trick to it. Any ideas...?

 

It does just snap back on But she may have broken the mounts that hold it in place.
