Hyundai Elantra While not much larger than the accent, the Elantra offers similar room, but a sportier look and feel, as well as more power.

Default Rear windshield

I tried to mark the edges of the haze.

Hi. Today I noticed uniform, hazy streaks across the rear windshield of my 2017 Elantra. They were visible without polarized sunglasses and were not visible in bright light. The strips create a hazy patch around the defroster grid with a clearer stripe between them.

Lately it has seemed like my rear rear windshield is always half fogged in the morning. I wonder if at least part of this has been me seeing these stripes in lower light. It's difficult to capture in photographs, but if you look really carefully you can kind of see them.

Numerous internet searches have left me empty handed

I don't see it. Is the window tinted with aftermarket film? My only other suggestion is try cleaning it with better products like Invisible Glass.

Can't tell by the images you provided. But as the poster above stated, try cleaning with other glass cleaners.
