Default Retaining clips for plastic splash pan underneath engine 2016 Elantra

Hi all,
anyone know what size and type of retaining clips are used to hold the engine splash guard underneath 2016 Elantra? I see the plastic screw type and also the push in types at autopart's store. Not sure what type or size to get.

Thanks!

Just remove one and take that one to the auto parts store and pick up a few. You may not need all of them this time, but if needed up the road, you have them.

Thanks for the reply!
I don't have any of the bolts or retaining clips to compare! Long story....but trying to get a part number or even the size of the retaining clips. I think the bolts are 6mm?

Thanks!!

An approximate size of the hole is usually sufficient for the store to provide a nylon/plastic push in retainer.
If in doubt , most retainers are approx 1/4 in in diameter and are available in various lengths. Good to have a little assortment , saves a lot of time and trouble if any are needed later on.
If you need to remove the splash guard anytime up the road , you won't need to worry if you destroy any on removal.
