Default Security Systems

I was wondering on an 08 hyundia elantra if I will have any troubles resetting the codes by keeping the negative battery cable disconnected while changing an o2 sensor. The car to my knowledge does not have a security system, just making sure by keeping the negative battery cable disconnected im not resetting a security system. Also i'm new to the forum tried searching for the info and no luck. Hello Hyundai forum nice to meet you

You'll be fine doing that. Personally, I'd buy a cheap code scanner that can clear the codes.
