I was wondering on an 08 hyundia elantra if I will have any troubles resetting the codes by keeping the negative battery cable disconnected while changing an o2 sensor. The car to my knowledge does not have a security system, just making sure by keeping the negative battery cable disconnected im not resetting a security system. You'll be fine doing that. Personally, I'd buy a cheap code scanner that can clear the codes.
