Unfortunately, some government required safety features are not good candidates for disabling.
The better thing to do , as you probably know, is to have the problem checked out and corrected. The feature when working correctly is quite reliable and doesn't cause very much problem Ignoring the warning message is not a good thing to do. When tires went flat due to various reasons and vehicle rollovers resulted the fix was the TPMS and it does work !
