Default 1st long trip MPG

6K KM's on clock and 1st long trip, and half trip on major highway, and half on winding 2 lane highway in rain with a/c on. Averaged 37 mpg (Imperial Gals) on this trip.

Default Imperial Gallons?

Not sure how the mileage translates, I just did a long trip (408 miles) and averaged 38.0 miles per gallon as shown by the trip computer; when I did my own calculations my MPG's came out to 35.1! The Touring's Trip Computer has proved to me to be optimistic. I track my MPG's regularly and my hand calculations are always lower.

Still 35.1 MPG is not bad, I also did some driving on gravel and dirt roads during this trip. Most of the trip was on open roads, highway and rural 2 lane roads.

I would hand calculate your mileage just to see what your true mileage is...

Default MPG Imperial Gals

My trip was from Canada in to US, and my fillup was in US Gallons, which I recalculated to Imperial Gals (4.5 Litres) as US Gal is smaller.

Those numbers sound good. I have been tracking my MPG on fuelly. I wish more people would track their fuel ups there because you can compare like vehicles. As of today, only 9 2011 Elantra Tourings. And only 17 total ET's

Here are my stats so far: Southside Touring SE (Hyundai Elantra Touring) | Fuelly

Default MPG - To Bunyam

Looks like your MPG is pretty close to mine, when you convert your US Gal to Imp Gal.
Wife uses the car most of the time and is really happy with it.
