Sorry to revive an old thread but I was wondering if these filters need to be oiled when you first purchase them? Considering getting one of these if they are worth it, and my local supplier has them.

Humm. I bought one today but they had to order it in. If it does not come pre-oiled does it at least come with the oil in the package or does it need to be ordered separately?

Most are pre-oiled but the ones that aren't do come with the oil.

K&N definitely comes pre-oiled BRAND new.
