Hi Everyone,

I have a Hyundai Elantra touring SE with the factory side rails and the factory cross bars. I am looking for a roof carrier to carry my Giant 29er Hardtail bike.

Hyundai does not offer a bike carrier (at least not in the US) and I have been looking at third parties (Thule, Yakima, etc.). It seems that the third party carriers may not fit the factory crossbars and even their adapters may not fit as well.

Has anybody successfully installed a roof bike carrier to the factory cross bars? and if so, could you share your solution? I'm also hoping to use the ones that don't require you to take the front wheel off.
