Default Day One with the ET Sport

First impressions:

1) Mostly rural driving with some highway mixed in... About 200 miles on the odometer and averaging near 30mpg..Wonderful! I would suspect that with long distance highway driving this car could reach the mid 30s.

2) Ride is nice, sporty on winding roads. A bit of tire noise at higher speeds and the tires really are noisier on certain surfaces...New blacktop is the quietest, worn black top seems to be the noisiest.

3) So far I really like the XM...This is the first vehicle I have owned that has it. Might keep it after the 90 days. Audio is compressed somewhat and is most noticeable to my ears when someone is speaking - like on talk radio.

4) I was concerned about acceleration on my test drives but it does not seem to be an issue at this time. Nearly as peppy as the ford focus in which it replaced.

5) 4 speed transmissions shifts smoothly, albeit not at the right times on occasion.

6) Seats are comfortable and non-fatiguing even after several hours in the vehicle yesterday.

7) With my height, it's a bit hard to reach the far right hand side radio control without stretching all the way out with the seat back all the way.

8) A/C will blow you out of the car even on a setting of 1 or 2...HAs not been real warm yet here however.

9) Still would like to figure out if this car will support a 2 DIN navigation or radio head unit.

Overall the driving experience is wonderful so far.

All good reviews! I like ours so far as well. We've only got 450 km on it (270 miles). Haven't filled the tank yet so I don't know our fuel consumption.
Put your location in your CP so we know where you're from.

Default Second Week

I have almost 800 miles and the only bad experience was the sales process. I love the car (Black Pearl ET, sports package, mud flaps, pinstrippig. VERY HAPPY WITH IT.

Yeah, I shut down the passenger vents and opened the one for the glove box to keep soda's cool. I kept having to turn the A/C down and then the temperature, too. Finally, I just opened the Passenger vents to keep from freezing

That's in Sunny Florida and it's 90F outside!

I really like the glove box for drinks and don't keep any papers in there. I just throw in 5 diet sodas and they stay cool when I need them. Even after a 12 hour shift working at the pizza place.
