First road trip report
I just put over 3,000 miles on my new automatic ET. Driving from California to Colorado and back. Had plenty of time to see how it drives on the freeway, interstate and winding mountain roads.
Yes, I wish it had more power on hills, but it wasn't *too* bad - we didn't have to actually floor it to get it up the hills.
The mileage was good, I thought, for a new car - around 30 mph or so. Have to really look at my numbers, probably not quite that good, but we had the a/c on a lot and did have a lot of hills.
I liked the way it handled in general. I'm coming from a Subaru which is excellent on curves, but I didn't feel like I'd given up too much by switching to my ET.
Overall, I just really like this car! What can I say? I think it's a keeper.

Great to hear it. I am planning a trip from FL to North Carolina. If I go solo the kayak can ride inside otherwise it goes on the roof and it should have a nice impact on mpg but I'll be splitting the gas so it will probably work out
