OEM HID upgrade available??
Here in the US. HID is not a option on the touring. I was wondering if in other countries it is? IF so I'd prefer to get a OEM upgrade to the headlights. Maybe its not for the touring, but will fit the headlights with right bulb and wiring plug size.
Anyone know?

Most "good" auto retailers will install and give you warranty!
All Phillips stock that is sold in Australia is quality control tested etc. If sold at major retailer, generally they provide a straight swap over if anything happens. They are sex i wish i could afford them LOL!

The 2009 Elantra Touring uses a different bulb design for the low beams. They are the only company using a H11B design (rather than the more common H11). I just checked with a popular manufacturer of Third Part HID kits and they are still at least 45+ days away from releasing this. Check out http://www.carhidkits.com/ sometime in October to see if they are released. Who knows maybe Hyundai will have a kit by then.
Like you I want to improve the low beam experience with my '09 Elantra Touring-but I just have to wait.
