Looking For Advice
Hi All..New to forum..First Post..
My Getz went through its MOT last week..All ok..Second time at this garage and on the whole I like this place..It was pointed out to me that a few thing need to be done next time...Replace Brake Fluid...Replace Front Exhaust Flexi Joint..Replace Both Front Lower Wishbones..The Getz is six years old..Very low mileage for it's years...Do not miss understand me,I know things happen,as i am no expert I was looking for some comments about thes things after six years...Thanks

Brake fluid absorbs water and can rot the lines from teh inside. It should be replaced every couple of years.
THe exhaust flex joint is just that, a joint that allws the exhaust to flex as the engine moves. The last a while but can wear out. Don't go by mileage, time is also a factor. Just because it hasn't been driven much doesn't mean things degrade. Same for the lower control arms.
