hello I just Purchase a 02 Santa fe from a friend. I notice that there was a exhaust leak right below the Manifold So i replace the gasket no more leaks but after 2 minutes running the car shutdown
So i got my temp lazer gun and i find out the manifold was twice as hot as the engine I check the thermostat temp at 180 head at 183 manifold 398 right below the manifold was also cooler at 190.
I am thinking that the catalytic converter is plug and since there is no leaks the pressure is building up and shutting down the engine.
