Crank blade?

I recently replaced the timing belt on my '04 2.4 litre Santa Fe and since then the engine "floats" around 2200 rpm while driving. It runs perfectly otherwise. Basically as I'm driving along if the vehicle is running around 2200 rpms the throttle sort of cuts out, not dying, but drops down until I either accelerate or the engine suddenly "wakes up" and jumps back to the original rpm, often with a lurch from the automatic transmission. The engine has good power otherwise and this doesn't happen under hard acceleration.

The crank blade key slot becomes loose and allows the blade to move which causes a hesitation due to crank position.I would start there with the download first.Common procedure that applies to 2003-2004 Sante -Fe.

sounds like a crank position sensor issue
