2003 santa fe wont start
2003 Hyundai Santa Fe
my car wont start. it does crank but it just wont turn on. i also checked my fluids and my oil is non existent. Do the cars have a fail safe to just shut off when there is low? or is it something else. Also my battery is brand new and everything turns on it just wont start.

If we know something is not right especially something as critical as engine oil, we take are of that first, because if we don't damage can take place and bigger problems than not starting can arrive.
I am not even going to ask how the oil level got so low and you did not check it as a usual procedure once a week. or each time you purchase fuel.
That oil had to go someplace and until it is determined just where the vehicle should not be driven.
Does the engine at least try to start running? Exactly what does it do?
