How do you replace the fog light bulb on a 2008 Santa Fe? What is the bulb number (so I can purchase it)?

 

REPLACEMENT

1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.[/align]

2.Remove the front side cover screw.[/align]

3.Remove the front fog lamp assembly (A) after loosening screws (4EA).[/align]



4.Installation is the reverse of removal.[/align]

Page 6-31 of the owners manual indicates a 27 watt halogen with a PG13 base. That translates to type 880 halogen bulb. However, the PG13 base on the 880 is straight and the bulb in the diagramn has a 90 degree bend in the base. That would be a PGJ13 base on a type 881 bulb. You might want to pull an existing bulb out first to make sure. If the harness has enough play in it, either may work just fine.
