I have a 2010 Santa Fe Limited with the 3.5 L engine. I am going to tow a boat that's ~3,000 lbs and I wonder if it's safe to tow this load with my Santa Fe. I looked at the manual and it says the car can tow up to 3,500lbs but I wanted to see if anyone has done it in real life and if the drive feels safe. The boat comes with a single axle trailer with disc brakes. I won't be towing for long any distances, mainly from home to the dock in the 10-15 Km each way on the highway however there are parts that I'll be going up and down the slopes before getting to the lake. Any inputs or tips would be appreciated.
