Default 2010 Santa Fe V6 1st oil change - help needed

So I recently picked up a 2010 Santa Fe V6 and time for oil change. So i picked up an oil filter from the store, and it has a little peg on one side. The filter I took out has no peg (looks to have been cut off). And there is no hole in the bottom of the filter housing for a peg to go into. After looking online, all the filters that are supposed to be for this vehicle have pegs. And I saw a 2012 video on youtube, which is supposed to have the same 3.5L engine, there is a hole in the filter housing for the peg. The filter housing cap I have has the 27mm hex nut on the top of it, and inside there is only a short post to insert into the filter. Looks like the older filter caps had a long post. The nearest Hyundai dealer is about an hour away, so not convenient to go to for an oil filter.

Was there different filters in 2010 that Fram and Purolator don't know about?

Thanks.
