2015 Santa Fe Sport alarm will not arm
Hi guys,
I just got her and I love her so far...not surprising coming from 2009 Forester lol
But I have a problem with the alarm - it will not arm, but the red light on the dash is blinking. I can open the rear left door after locking the car because of a bad actuator and the alarm won't go off.
I have tried to reset the alarm by removing its fuse for a few hours and the result was the same.
I don't know if there is a connection, but the tailgate was unlocking with the doors after I put the fuse back, but 20mins later it won't, I have to press and hold the tailgate button on the key fob every time.
As far as I am aware and according to the manual, I should have an anti-theft alarm. Is there any chance of it being disengaged? How can I check that? Or maybe it is a problem whit the module itself?
Any suggestion is welcome!

I would suggest the problem with the left rear door assy be corrected first and go from there.
There are switches inside the assy that are related to the alarm syst and could be the cause for the inability to set the alarm..
