We just purchased a 2019 Ultimate and WOW what an SUV! Every bell and whistle you can imagine (it even steers itself on the highway!) and road and wind noise is all but non existent. We also got 33.5 mpg (2.4 non-turbo) on a recent 100 mile two lane road trip at 68 mph....way better than the EPA estimates for this vehicle.
If you are even remotely considering an SUV of this size, do NOT skip driving the Santa Fe. You will be impressed with its beauty, features and performance.

Our salesman made an off-hand reference that, if you stuff a big enough orange into the lower part of the steering wheel, you can take your hands off the wheel and let the car steer itself....haven’t tried that yet....scary a little bit, you know?...but that self steering really seems to work well, and steers very smoothly — I was surprised....
