Air intake hose
Hi.
if felt a power dip din my 2007 santafe 2.2 crdi 4x4 auto
the last time i towed my caravan. more when i go up hill.
Now i found n huge leak in my air intake hose.
awating new hose.
Could that have been the problem

Had the same cracked/split hose on my 2004, 2.7. If the crack results in a leak, it will affect your drivability since some air is getting into the throttle body without going through the mass air flow sensor. These hoses are pretty cheap on E-Bay (after market, of course). I think I got one for under $20.
Until you manage to get a replacement hose you might consider the following,
Place a piece of Aluminum foil over the hole and secure it in place with duct tape . It is a temporary measure , but will suffice until the correct hose is installed as long as no air can get into the leak..
