cabin filter arrow,,,,up or down

cabin filter arrow,,,,up or down

I have a 2010 santa fe,,,,like a dumbs---, I didn't check the direction of the arrow when pulling the filter. I believe it must point down,,,am I correct? Thanks, Bill

The air flow is down so I'm going to assume the filter arrow should point down as well.
