Default Which code reader & service manual to buy?

I bought a 2002 Santa fe new & recent trips to service department makes me
want to start doing my own repairs. Im looking for a good service manual and a good code reader. There are many versions of both on ebay so Im looking
for any ideas or tips as to which one to buy. I have found Actron cp9125
readers for $50 & cp9180 for $125 but dont know which one would be better or maybe another brand? Same goes for service manuals, there seems to be
many different ones out there.

I perssonally use Actron scanners. They are excellent. As for manuals, I go here instead
