I have a 2003 Santa Fe GL V6. The left front door speaker does not work, but the tweeter for that same channel does. I have verified that the speaker is good and the problem is in the wiring. On the wiring diagram it shows that the left front speaker and tweeter are connected in parallel at connector MD01. At this point, the brown & brown/orange wire split to 2 yellow & 2 black to go to the speakers. I think this is where my problem lies, but I am unable to find it - where does this connection physically exist??

 

remove your door panel and unscrew the woofer. just trace the wire for it to find where it meets the tweeter wire.
