Engine lite on presented code for misfire cyl. 2 & 3
Cleared codes ran well for approx. 50mi. Now same before I start with plugs and on & on has anyone else encountered same ?

Before changing the spark plugs, did you check the spark?
How big a gap could it cross?
What have you done so far?

 

I discovered that the intake valves like to carbon up with these direct injected engines.
No matter who builds them. Maybe a problem? I have a new Santa Fe with the 2.4. No problems yet. The Hyundai dealer I think would be my first stop. The ten year warranty and all.
