Default Need Swap Guide Info Please!!

New to this forum just purchased a 2004 Santa Fe just wondering what other hyundai's have my engine. BTW how can i tell it its a 2.2 or a 2.4 liter 4cyl ?

If you live in the United States and the engine is original, it can only be a 2.4L. There was no 2.2L 4-cylinder engine available.

Thanks nova, Any info on what other Hyundai's have the 2.2 liter.

The only 2.2L 4-cylinder Hyundai makes that I'm aware of was a diesel and not available in the United States. There are no 2.2L Hyundai engines (gas or diesel) in the US.

USA & Canada ----> Emission certification label on underside of hood ...

OK, its a 2.4L 4cyl. Just got it yesterday I,ve looked under the hood just didnt think to look at thoes stickers with information on,em.LOL.
