Anyone know about a rear tow hook you are supposed to be able to screw in though your back bumper? Just bought a 2010 and no mention of it from dealer but wife was at another dealership looking around and they mentioned it on older models.

 

Look for the round port on the rear bumper. If it's there then your model year should be the same as older ones and you should have a tow hook that is inserted in the bumper.

 

My Accent SE 2010 has a tow point? about 10 inches forward of the center of the rear bumper. The front has a port on the pax side for a long eye bolt tow point. Would be interested in the source of a slightly shorter eye bolt for a tie down point.

 

I spoke to my dealer today and was informed that they changed to a different hook in 2009 and in 2010 do not make a hook for it. They have tried a hook from previous years but they no longer fit. Too bad as it is very good idea.
