Spark from the coils to the spark plugs?
Fuel pump and gas. Even pour starting fluid?
Sounds like you have an idea of what to check for
And everything you said ..it should be starting??

I would first check all the fuses (engine bay and cabin dash)
Take oil filler cap off and have assistant crank engine
Watch for valve movement?
No valve movement then broken timing belt or chain

Try taking out up stream O2 sensor and start engine
If it starts then the exhaust is clogged

Check air filter. Air flow.
Check IAC valve (clean if necessary)
Check compression on the cylinders
Check timing

That is it. All anyone can do.

I have the same issue and a Lojack was added when I purchased the card in 2004,
I am supecting the Alarm / Lojack issue.
I called Lojack and was told they don't do cars anymore, well in the setup i have and i have to go back to the dealer.

My dealer cant walk and chew gum at the same time, can anyone here help?

I am sure a contractor added the Lojack.
I sent the car in to get a problem fixed for the smog cert.
After two months of picking it up and returning as it failed in less then a day each time, oh and 5K of money replacing just about every sensor on the car.
I took it home and hooked it up to a cheap diag device to find the O2 sensor was bad,
I replaced each one as the error moved with each replacement until I had all four replace which fixed the dash light problem and the car passed smog.

There is no way I would bring it back for a hard problem to the dealer, well I don't think it will bring it to them ever again, I can only assume they were just resetting the codes and charging me each time for a new sensor and giving back to me.
Since then I have replaced a few of the sensor that were listed as replaced but these were very old so I would assume nothing was replaced by the dealer.

Sorry for the sidetrack but if you live near Anaheim California, make sure to bring your car to a different city dealer.

If your vehicle cranks then check for
Fuel system ... injectors pulse, fuel rail pressure, fuel pump
Air ... in take, vacuum leaks
Spark ... spark going to plugs
Timing ...
Exhaust ...
Compression ...

I would suspect that you do not or can't do your own work, so if you are not receiving satisfactory results where you are taking your vehicle for repair, then you might try a different Hyundai dealership or a shop with a good reputation. There could be a number of reasons some places can't pin down the problem and it's fine when you have the patience and $$$ to wait, but most folks just don't have that luxury.
We could suggest all kinds of things to check, but if you don't have the tools or know how , its a waste of time.
Usually ,,,,,,another dealership will try to take are of the problem especially if they are hoping to gain new customers. What do you think?
