Stuck cv joint

In have a 03 with a 3.5 with a cv joint that won't release the intermidiate shaft. I've tried pry bars slide hammers and even heat but I can't get it too release.

Them things normally fall off when you dont want them to while suspension is apart..

Grab the outer joint, and pull that thing straight off.
