Hi, I hope someone can help!

I have a 2005 Santa Fe and for the second time I think my temperature (internal) controls are haunted. All of a sudden the fan will not shut off. It happened to me about a year and a half ago and lasted for about 2 weeks. I made an appointment to get it looked at and then all of a sudden, while driving down the road, it just went off. Then it worked just like normal.

The other day, while driving the fan started to blow out at full setting and now will not shut off unless the car is turned off. I can adjust the temperature, heat, and ac, but the fan just blows at top setting. It does not show on the screen that way but will not slow down or go off. Any ideas out there?

temp controls are going bad, with the fan running at high speeds seems like the resistor is going bad.
