Default Timing belt or chain

Hi folks.
Can't seam to be able to get a straight answer on weather a 2008 santa fe with a 3.3 v-6 engine has a timing belt or chain. Even the service manager at the hyundai dealer could not give me the answer. She wants to sell me a timing belt replacement for $600.00. From what i am reading on the internet this engine uses a chain. Does anyone out there know? Or is this another dealer scam.
Thanks for any input.

The 3.3 liter Lambda V6 has a timing chain that needs no servicing with no outwards signs that something is wrong. I would find a different place to have the car worked on.

Find another dealer. Either they are too stupid to know or they are trying to scam you. The 3.3L Lanbda V6 in your Santa Fe has a timing chain that does not require replacement.
