Default Two questions

I just got a new Santa Fe Limited with Nav and was wondering if there is a mute button anywhere for the radio. I can't find it in the manual. The other one I'm wondering about is if the power outlets can be left active when the vehicle is turned off. I have a golf gps unit that I usually leave in the car to charge overnight but the outlets power down when the car is shut off. I don't know if it will get charged on the drive home and back the next day.

The info on how to mute the radio is in the Navigation System manual. Pages 8 thru 11:

What year Santa Fe do you have? The 2010 manual (pages 4-89 and 4-92) says the outlet in the rear and the passenger side power outlet in the dash are full time on. Only the driver side outlet (lighter) is is turned off when the engine is off.

If that's not the way your Santa Fe works, that's something you will have to do yourself (or have a mechanic do).

The power outlets all work fine as long as the car is running but I used to use them to charge things up over night and that feature is not available on the Santa Fe. Thanks

I realize that but have you checked them all with the car off? If they are all off with the engine, you'll have to directly wire them to the battery or a circuit that is full-time hot.
