Default It won't start

I have a 2002 santa fe, was running great until this past Thursday.
I left my house and made a quick stop at the post office, no problem at all, when I got in the car to start it again it won't start, still have power for clock, radio, dome lights, but won't start.
After a jump and running it for 15 minutes the car started working fine.
Today, Saturday it did it to me again.

Any suggestion what may be causing this problem?

Car is dealer mantained and still has the original factory battery.

Oh, also notice that while driving at night head lights some times tend to dim a bit for a fraction of a sec and then come back to normal strenght, can this two problems be related?

Any help will be greatly appreciated

G-man

I would first have the battery load tested. The battery may have a dead cell. Now for the headlights dimming .If your vehicle has the 2.7 motor in it then tsb #02-36-021 applies to you. They basically changed the alternator output amperage from a 95 amp to a 110 amp. If the vehicle is under warranty this will apply.Contact your dealer and they should be able to assist you in this matter. If the battery is out of warranty you will have to pay for that yourself.
