Default 02 Fogs

I am planning on putting HID's in my fogs and need to know how involved replacing the bulbs is. I remember correctly, the shop manual says the front bumper has to be removed which I am not in the mood to do.

Anyone done this or knows?

Also, I know the low beams are 55w, are the fogs the same?

Thanks

The best thing to do is get under there and have a look. I suspect that although the shop manual may say to remove the front bumper, you likely don't have to and may be able to do it by removing, either partially or entirely, any splash shields which are in the way. This may give you the access you need to get at the fog lights from the rear.

I'm sure the factory fog light bulbs will be 55W but I wouldn't use 55W HID's in them. Stick with 35W, that would be plenty.

I agree. I went ahead with 55w for the lows and the site I ordered from DDM Tuning, recommended sticking with the 35w for the fogs for heat reasons.

Appreciate the response.
