Hi, all, noob here on the site. Question: Need to do an engine swap on a '05 with the 2.7 V-6, my Chilton's manual says the motor/transaxle has to come out the bottom, but can't do that in my home shop. A mechanic friend say he's pulled 4 cyl's out the top, but never tried a V-6. Looks to me like there's plenty of room. Anyone ever pull/replace a V-6 in an '05 out the top with a cherry picker?

 

Anybody? New motor about prepped for install, most everything disconnected on the old lump, almost ready to pull. Throwing caution to the wind!
