Default 06 Airbag light

When no one is sitting in the passenger seat, does the light that says "Passenger airbaig off" stay on all the time?

Seems like this is just going to burn out the bulb faster.

Yes, it's supposed to do that. Bulbs are cheap.

There is a service bulletin on that airbag light, they can fix it for nothing,but you have to have them look up your model to see if its covered

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@SORRY About That, I was thinking of the drivers side on the older models that stayed on with the driver in the seat . If the light is in fact a bulb and not a LED it will burn out sooner, If its a LED it will last forever.

If the Sonata is like my Tucson, it's a bulb, not an LED.
