Default 06 sonota alarm

hello all, i have an 06 sonota that the alarm started going off today for no apparent reason. It did this at first after sitting in the driveway untouched for the last 24 hours. It goes off with all the doors shut, open, locked or unlocked, windows up or down and hood open or shut. All the door and hood switches seem to work fine. The battery is a year old and is showing 12.5 volts sitting and not running, i just unhooked the neg. I have tried to reset it by turning the key switch to the on position twice in 5 sec and taking the battery out of the key fob remote. noting has made any differance. It just started and goes off every couple of minutes. Ive searched here and the net with nothing thats helped so far. can it be disabled? Does anyone have any possible answers? thanks.

When the alarm goes off, just press the unlock button on the key fob to turn the alarm off.

We have done that several times, along with all the other things mentioned and it has had no affect on it. The alarm just keeps going off randomly for no reason.

Is the fob working? Does it lock and unlock the doors? Does it stop the alarm while it's going off?

it is working and it will stop the alarm but the alarm goes right back off. ive taken the batteries out of the fob to make sure its not the problem. I connected the battery back up yesterday after being unhooked for several hours. it took about 10 min and it started going back off. It doest matter if the doors are open or shut, hood open or shut or the windows up or down. it doesnt do itwith the car running but that about the only way its not. all the door sensors seem to work. I disconnected the horn fuse so i could work on it without having to hear it but the lights still go off. Is there just a way to disable the alarm and just go without it?

What do you mean by "it goes right back off"? Does it stop the alarm or not? Does it lock and inlock the doors?

Why? That does absolutely nothing. You are wasting you time.

What happens when you start the car? Are you starting it while the alarm is going off? What happens when you turn the car off?
