Default 09 Sonata Frame plugs

Here's a question for the techs that PDI new 09 Sonatas. Does the 09 Sonata have 2 different sized plugs for the shipping tie down holes in the frame rails. I know the 06 does as per a TSB but I'm not sure on the 09's. My 09 came with them missing or not installed and when I got them installed it came back with the 2 plugs in the rear holes ripped and not fitting correctly. All the plugs were the same. I thought the rear ones were smaller and looked flatter not cupped like the front ones. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I just got an '09 Sonata GLS for my wife and I'm wondering where these plugs are so I can look to see if her car has them or not. Can you point me to where I should be looking? Thanks.

There are 2 plugs per side. Look under the doors on the frame rails not on the doors or sill areas. You will see either holes or rubber plugs at the front and rear ends of the frame rails. These are were the vehicles are tied down during shipping. Plugs are installed to cover them during the Pre Delivery Inspection at the dealership. I have found most dealerships are not installing them. Just look under most unsold Sonatas on their lots. Each plug is about 1X2 inches and they are oval shaped. These plugs are installed to keep water from entering the frame rails

Thanks. Sure enough mine are missing and I'll be replacing them. I guess the dealers are so hot to get you to take delivery no one really checks the PDI checklist.
