Default 09 Sonata - Fuel Issue

I have a 2009 Sonata and the check engine light came on. The computer codes read the fuel system is running rich. The car has been hesitating on initial accelaration, however, other than that it is running fine. Anyone know what may cause this? Have suggestions on how to deal with the problem? They suggested I use fuel injector treatment to see if it improves.

Thanks in advance for any help!

If the check engine light is on then you need to get the code read to know what the problem is. Since your car is still under warranty, go back to the dealer and get it fixed for free.

Hi,
Similar problem here. 2009 Sonata, 38,000 miles, check engine light comes on. I went to the dealer Tues. and they "cleared the codes" on the sensor so the light went out. I asked what the codes were- no answer. I asked what caused the sensors to kick off and I was told the sensors were checked and "read fine", they even showed me the print-out. Of course the check engine light came on toaday, Sunday, again. Had the same problem with a Nissan product. Ultimately had to change the o2 sensors AND the thermostat. I'm going back to the dealer this week!!!
