Default Fuel pump issue?

Since we purchased our touring...If I let the gas get very low (as in maybe a gallon or two left in the tank) and let it sit over night...The next morning it will have a lot of trouble starting. Eventually it will start up but it takes many turns of the key. It's as if it's not getting gas. This never occurs if there is plenty of gas in the tank. Also, quite frequently while sitting at a stop sign or light the car vibrates more than I think it should (runs rough).

I have read that the elantra's have had issues with fuel pumps in the past. Has anyone else experienced this same issue?

I plan to take it in to service soon for this problem.

I've noticed the same thing with my ET. I happen to have the manual transmission (if that makes any difference) and my conclusion on this is that there is residual brake chatter from the ABS. So whenever I feel the extra vibrations and/or hear the sound, I step off the brakes and step back on and usually, this stops the sound and vibrations. At my next service, I plan on having the service technician investigate this issue further.
