1999 Sonata headlights keep blowing out
Hello,
I have a 1999 Sonata with approximately 80K miles on it.
Last Friday both the low beam headlights blew out. By Monday the high beams had also blown out. I replaced all four of the headlight bulbs with the recommended blulbs for the vehicle Monday afternoon. Two days have gone by and the new low beam bulbs have once again blown out.
When I say they bulbs have blown I mean the filiments are physically broken. I did a voltage test while the car was running and the voltage at the headlamps was approximately 13.5 to 13.65 volts.
Recently the ABS and emergancy brake lights have been remaining on while the car is running.
Any solid ideas on what the problem could be would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Johnny Wishbone
