2002 Sonata Transmission Help
Hello all, first time poster here!
I own a 2002 Sonata GLS 2.7, and the transmission is SHOT. It slips so badly in any gear that the car won't even drive. So I am leaning towards putting a new trans in it. This is something I know I can easily do mechanically, however I don't know if there is any sort of A/T relearn procedures that I have to follow after I put in a new (used) trans? Or is this something that the dealer has to perform seeing as I only have garage tools and no scan tools of any sort. Also, to those of you who have done this or something like this before, is there anything I should be aware of or look out for?
Thanks! Any help is appreciated!
