I recently purchased a 2006 Sonata LX and am wondering if there is any way to look up or find out what required service (TSBs?) have been performed. I've read that the Timing Chain Tensioner and other issues are covered, but want to get it done before the warranty expires.

TSB's are not required work to be done. That are just to help a dealer fix a problem if a vehicle comes in. If you don't have a problem, there is no reason to get TSB work done.

Recalls however are different. They are required to be done and if you call a Hyundai dealer and give them the VIN they can check to seeif the recalls have been done.
