2008 Sonata
I am seriously considering trading in my 2007 Ford Ranger for a 2008 Hyundai Sonata-10000 miles rental car from Florida.
I am 6'4" tall.Any suggestions or opinions would be greatly appreciated!! The car is an automatic-5 speed 4 cylinder.
Thanks, David

RE: 2008 Sonata
Hmmm, one obvious problem. Hyundai did not offer a 5 speed automatic with the 4 cylinder engine in 2008. The I4 engine was only offered with a 5 speed manual or a 4 speed automatic. I purchased a 2008 Sonata last January. My wife and I did not like the 4 cylinder with the automatic. It did not drive as smooth and was not as quiet as the V6 which did come with a 5 speed automatic. Hyundai has switched to a 5 speed automatic for the 4 cylinder engine with the 2009 model year. I would suggest you copy down the VIN and purchase a carfax report for the car to confirm the model year. My 2008 is one of the most comfortable and quiet cars I have ever driven.

RE: 2008 Sonata
I bought a 2008 Sonata last December just before Christmas. I got the GLS with the 5 speed manual. I have 19,000 miles on it now and it has been perfect. I love the car. I get an average of 31 MPG in my 100 mile a day commute to work. This is the fourth Hyundai I have owned since 1999 and they have all been really good to me.
