2008 Sonata hard start/ blower cuts out
Hello all! 2008 V6 3.3 model
was hoping I could get some help with this problem Car is not wanting to crank easily. It eventually does but the a/c blower cuts during driving and the interior lights flicker. I have ordered a positive battery cable, but am not sure if this is the problem. Or if there is a workaround with regular battery cables until the OEM cable comes in |
So the car doesn't crank easily?
Do you mean the engine cranks but doesn't start? Or do you mean the engine doesn't crank and therefore won't start? Not cranking is a different system to troubleshoot Cranking, no start is a whole different ball game Let's see, you're about to replace the positive battery cable Then there was probably some dirt or corrosion on it This would mean that the grounding points also need to be cleaned Negative terminal on battery needs to be cleaned And the cable from the negative battery post to the chassis grounding point needs to be cleaned too. It usually goes under the battery tray. |
