2011 Sonata SE Steering Problem
I've wondered the same thing, whether this pulling is an SE issue only. I have a Limited and it doesn't pull, but before I rotated the tires front to back, it was very squirrely in the lane. Again, I wonder if that's the tires and almost can't wait for them to wear out so I have a good excuse to replace them.
The rattle in the steering over bumps might also be a Limited only thing? Unsure, I haven't done a survey. On another site a tech said it's probably the slight lash in the electric gear's motor. If so, why isn't everyone saying they feel that?

Also, mbm.. Most of the times people don't even know that the product they are using have an issue unless someone points that out to them. Just a human nature. A perfectionist will find defect in almost EVERY product...
Just purchased our '11 Sonata SE a few days ago and didn't notice the drift to the left during the test drive, but did notice it on our way home. Uh oh, I'm more than a little concerned about this now! It's back at the dealer today getting an alignment. Will post whether or not it makes a difference once we pick it up and drive it a little bit.
Picked up our car today, some alignment adjustments made, still drifts left. Called the dealership back to advise them and they seemed very willing to get the vehicle back and work to try and fix the problem. They said they'd put us in a loaner if needed. Hope we can find a resolution because we really like the car otherwise!
Reading this entire thread, has anyone considered bad tires or actually replaced them? My 2006 also had the same problem and would simply not hold true. After half a dozen tire rotations and two "alignments" it would still drift hard to the right. I got disgusted and replaced the Michelin MXV4's on it. This made ALL the difference in the world. It was like driving a totally different vehicle, the car held true and the steering was tight. I went to what I consider the best performance all season tire out there, the Continental DWS.
So ... now I own a 2011 Sonata. It came with the Kumho KH25s, inflated to 43 PSI from the factory (for better mileage of course .. nice way to get killed on slick pavement). The tires are THE NOISIEST and stiffest tires I've ever driven on. On rough pavement, the road sounds like it's in the back seat. On all pavement the bumps are unacceptable. Deflating them to the recommended 32 didn't help at all. So I wouldn't trust these Kumho's for anything ... total junk. This seriously could be why your car drifts!
P.S. Any recommendations out there on a super quiet smooth riding tire? The Conti DWS is great, but slightly noisy.

Of course, not. The tires are inflated to 43 PSI from the factory to prevent flat-spotting the tires during shipping and storage on the dealers lot until the car is sold. It has nothing to do with better mileage. The dealer is supposed to deflate them to the proper PSI before delivery to the customer.
Well, some 2011 Sonatas are going to be sitting on the dealer lots with over inflated tires a little longer if they don't fix the road noise issue with these cars. I spent $25K on a new car I can't even take i on a trip because the noise is horrible and the bumps are stiff. I'd lke to hear from someone that has replaced the tires.
