I have about 1,500 miles on my replaced transmission. I am glad to say that the car has been trouble free. If Hyundai is replacing your trans with a new one, then I consider that a good deal for you in the long run. Hopefully, they will give you a loaner car to ease the pain. Best of luck.

 

I've put approx. 3500 miles on my sonata since the transmission was replaced and haven't had any other issues with it, knock on wood.

 

Good to hear. I have to admit, I was very impressed with how quickly they turned around my car. It was brought in on a Wednesday and I picked it up Friday evening. Hopefully this is the last visit to the dealer! Thanks for the updates.
