Default 2022 Homelink (garage controls) on Sonata?

My wife has a 2014 Sonata and loves it. It came with the Homelink mirror and she loves it for the garage door access (my 2013 Elantra has it as well).

I have been looking at the 2022 Sonata online and I am a bit confused. If I'm reading the specs correctly, you can only get the Homelink mirror on the Limited edition (she doesn't want leather seats so this really isn't an option for her)? There are no integrated garage door controls on any of the other models? If I was to purchase a non-limited edition for her, we'd have to use the ugly garage door opener that came with the unit?

What if you checked with a salesperson at a dealership, there may be somethings not on the net that the sales person could maybe explain, worth a try.
Sometimes the net is not the best place to get needed info.

Have you ever tried contacting a dealership with a question about a vehicle? Sales people don't want to answer any questions over the phone or email. They want you to come in so they can pressure you into a test drive and purchase. I have already contacted my local dealer through their website. Within five minutes, I got text messages from the sales manager and a sales person asking me to set up a time to come in a test drive a vehicle. These were not automated texts either because they both spelled my name wrong on them. Neither text even acknowledged the question I asked about the mirror. Besides, are you really going to take the word of a salesperson trying to sell you a car? All I need is for him to say "yes, it can be installed" just to get me into the dealership when it actually cannot be installed.

I figured maybe I could find someone here with a 2022 SE that has (or doesn't have the mirror) and they would be able to give me a definitive answer.

I get your curiosity about the 2022 Sonata’s Homelink garage controls. It's always cool to figure out the neat gadgets in a new car. Here's the scoop: the 2022 Sonata does indeed have Homelink available, but it's not standard on every model. If your car is a higher trim like the Limited, you should be good to go! Homelink lets you connect your car to your garage door, making it super convenient. Just imagine never having to juggle the remote control again! To get it set up, you'll need to follow the instructions in your car’s manual. It usually involves pressing a couple of buttons both in your car and on your garage door opener. It might take a few tries, but it’s pretty straightforward. If you get stuck, a site like https://portlanddoorsandlocksguy.com/ can be super helpful for troubleshooting or even getting professional help.
